This is Groote Post winemaker, Lukas Wenztel’s own special creation, named after his matriarch born in the 1700’s, and who married the first Wenztel to arrive in the Cape.

Aurelia displays very strong honey and dried apricot flavours on the nose. A full bodied palate, rounded off by displaying well integrated acid with a yeasty biscuit flavour. The lovely golden colour is the end result of two years’ of ageing on the lees. A blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir.
